PRECISION MC4 CRIMPING FOR SOLAR CABLE CONNECTIONS The JPT MC4 Solar Crimping Tool Kit is designed for solar cable preparation and MC4 connector termination. The PRO-CUT LY-2546B crimping tool supports 2.5mm², 4mm² and 6mm² cable sizes, corresponding to AWG 13-10, helping create consistent crimped connections on compatible solar cables. The included multi-gauge wire stripper provides multiple stripping positions from 0.6mm to 2.6mm and is marked for 22-10 AWG wire sizes. Its integrated mechanism allows convenient preparation of wires before connector installation. The crimping tool incorporates a ratchet mechanism for controlled crimping and a release trigger to help clear mis-crimps or obstructions. The kit also includes MC4 connector components, two MC4 wrenches and an organised storage bag. The supplied MC4 connectors feature IP67 waterproofing, PPO insulation and flame-retardant construction, as shown in the product specifications.
